HOW DANGEROUS CAN AI BE?
Got into a discussion with a few tech friends and it was obvious there are several fears on the high rise of the AI era we are in. The extinction of humans was a major part of the debate.
A new era of innovation and convenience has arrived as a result of the extraordinary breakthroughs in artificial intelligence (AI). However, it is crucial to be aware of the risks that AI may present if not managed carefully.
AI systems are only as good as the data they are trained on, and if biased or deficient data is used, it can reinforce societal biases and perpetuate discrimination. In addition, the quick development of AI technology prompts worries about employment loss and economic injustice.
There are worries about AI systems becoming autonomous and making bad decisions that could hurt mankind, however, to reduce the hazards and make sure AI benefits society in a safe and secure way, responsible development, ethical standards, and continual attention are essential.
To ease all fears, AI cannot cause extinction. hahaha...... I don't have that fear. Hoe about you fella?
