Nigerian students are very much aware of your efforts in all sectors which include Education, Security and Economy despite the global economic downturn which is well acknowledge and commendable. May Allah be pleased with you.

We want to bring to your notice the recent development which has hit the tertiary institutions in school fees hike by the Universities Council with over 200% increase

NANS want your usual intervention in the school fees increment by tertiary institutions in the Country. Your sons and daughters and even parent can’t afford to pay 200% despite the global economic hardship. Although according to a reliable source, we got informed that the Vice-Chancellors, and Lecturers of the universities has been granted a special discount to their sons and daughters for the new rate leaving your own children (we sons and daughters of the poor masses) to their fate.
We as an organization have reached out to relevant stakeholders in line with the provision of constitution and charter of demand which gives room for 3e we have consulted, and we are in the process of consolidation. NANS will not leave any stone unturned in this kind of situation because public tertiary schools are the last hope for a common man. And the universities council is trying to make the country unsecured because of their actions and inconsiderate of the current economic situation. If we can’t get the education through government institutions then where do we get it from?

Your Excellency Sir, our findings and records has it that if this decision by universities council scale through, we would have an increased out of school people at the tertiary level, we believe you will not allow this to happen likewise NANS.

While waiting for your quick response as a matter of urgency, National Security, peace and stability please accept the assurance of Nigerian Student’s best wishes and regards.
