Here are eight interesting facts about the United Arab Emirates (UAE):

1.            The UAE is a federation of seven emirates, each with its own ruler. The largest and most populous emirate is Abu Dhabi, which serves as the capital of the UAE. The UAE was formed on 2nd December 1971 when six small states on the Arabian Peninsula (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, and Fujairah) joined together to form a federal state. Later, Ras Al Khaimah joined on 10th February 1972 to make up the seven emirates of UAE.

2.            The UAE has a diverse population, with over 200 nationalities represented in the country. Many people from around the world live and work in the UAE, drawn by its high standard of living and a strong economy. The official language is Arabic, but English is widely spoken and is used as the primary language of business

3.            The UAE is home to some of the tallest and most iconic buildings in the world, including the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world at 828 meters (2,722 feet). Other notable buildings in the UAE include the Burj Al Arab, the world's only seven-star hotel, and the Palm Jumeirah, an artificial island shaped like a palm tree. The UAE is home to many luxury hotels and resorts, and it is a popular destination for tourists from around the world.

4.            The UAE has a rich culture and history, with a long tradition of trade and commerce. The country has a strong focus on education and has invested heavily in modern infrastructure, making it a hub for business and tourism. UAE's rich cultural heritage, includes traditional crafts and arts, textiles, ceramics, and metalwork. The country also has a vibrant food culture, with a wide variety of local and international cuisines available.

5.            Despite its desert climate, the UAE is home to a number of impressive natural attractions, including the Hajar Mountains, the Empty Quarter, and the mangrove forests of the eastern coast. The country also has a number of artificial islands and beach resorts that are popular with tourists.
