Heavenly Wars: First and Second Rebellion Pt. I

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force” -Matthew 11:12

FIRST REBELLION

In the beginning before God created the earth, God and His angels dwell in Heaven, there was a celestial hierarchy in which God placed different messengers in different positions starting from; Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, Archangels, Angels. (Eph. 1:21; Col. 1:16). The seraphim (Isaiah 6:2) are the most superior, God gave them power according to their classifications. Among these legion of Angels, there were three Archangels in which God gave authority to guide the last legion of Angels, they were; Michael, Gabriel and Lucifer, each Archangel was given position of authority over one-third of the last order of angels (Isaiah 14)

As time went on, archangel Lucifer was jealous of God, of His authority and power and worship, he began polluting the minds of the angels he controlled and they planned to rebel against God and dethrone Him, they planned to fix in Lucifer as their new god, as they were approaching the throne of God, they attacked the legion of angels on their way, in wrath, God Himself threw out Lucifer along with the angels that joined him out of Heaven (Isaiah 14:14)

SECOND REBELLION

God called His angels together and told them; “let us create man in our own image” (Gen 1:26). Thus He created Earth, plants, animals and man. The first humans He created were Adam and Eve-together they both ruled over all God’s creation on earth, life was going on smoothly for them when, one day Satan polluted their minds and tempted them to eat the forbidden fruit, for going against the will of God. He sent out Adam and Eve from the garden of Eden and secured the gates with Cherubim (Gen 3:24) knowing fully well that they are more powerful than Satan and there is no way he could defeat them in battle. After man had multiplied all over the Earth, God knew perfectly well that Satan and the fallen angels would try to pollute the minds of men and turn them against Him.

In other to prevent this; God sent out another legions of angels that are more powerful than Satan, to watch over the earth and man, these legion of angels are called powers and principalities, they watched over the earth for ages and one day they fell from their positions where God had put them (Jude 1:6), they came to earth and started interceding with the daughters of men (Gen 6:1-4), for committing this sin, God cast them out of their positions in Heaven and set them aside for judgment on the last day (2 peter 2:4). On seeing this, Satan was glad to see that some other legion of angels had fallen and he went to persuade them to join him in his war against God, I believe some joined him while some stood by themselves still claiming that they were angels of God.

The intercession of these fallen angels with daughters of men gave birth to monstrous beings called Nephilims (Numbers 13:33),(Gen 6:4), these monstrous beings interceded with each other and they gave birth to offsprings the size of man but with great wisdom and supernatural powers, they were called Raphaim (Dt 2:10-11), (Dt 2:20-21). The Nephilims and raphaims also fought themselves for who rule over the earth, during their time they were very wicked and they brutalized man (Gen 6:5) As God had said that all men will taste death, the nephilims and the raphaims lived and died because they possessed human blood (Gen 6:3), their spirit which God tagged “unclean spirit” still roam the Earth causing havoc everywhere, these spirits are called “Demons” they dwell in the kingdom of Satan and work for him.
