THE SOLE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN READING AND STUDYING

Reading is simply glancing through words in a book, and understanding briefly what it conveys or entails in a short time.

Studying is reading vigorously, focusing your eyes and mind on those words, and it's not easily understandable. It takes lengthy period.

You can easily read through novels, and understand its contents.

On the other hand, studying takes days, weeks, months or years to understand its concepts. You can't skimmed through textbooks (especially calculations) and understand immediately.

Nevertheless, when you've absorbed, observed or understand what you study it's going to stick upstairs forever.

Graduates won't say this is what I read but rather study.

In the case of reading, it won't stick forever unless you pick it up and read again.

Both reading and studying are useful.

Keep learning.
